The Bay of Fundy has won the prestigious nomination to
represent Canada in the final stage of the global Official
New7Wonders of Nature contest. Starting in 2007, the Bay
of Fundy was one of 440 participants representing over 220
countries worldwide and today is proud to be one of the 28
Official Finalists worldwide. The final 7, chosen by popular
vote, will be declared in 2011.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allows Canadians to
showcase their own natural wonder on the international
stage and entice new visitors to Canada. The beautiful Bay
of Fundy is a 270 km (170 mile) long ocean bay that stretches
between the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia on
